Katrine Gislinge began taking piano lessons at the age of six. After taking her diploma in 1990 at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, she studied with among others Seymour Lipkin in New York, at Yale with Boris Berman and Claude Frank, and with Peter Feuchtwanger in London.
Katrine Gislinge’s concerts have evoked a broad spectrum of superlatives. She is well known for her musical imagination and profound empathy with the classical repertoire, a CD recording on Deutsche Grammophon, chamber music collaboration with international artists like violinist Gidon Kremer, the German Petersen String Quartet, the cellist Jian Wang, cellist Marc Coppey, the flautist Emmanuel Pahud, the violinist Augustin Dumay and the violist Gérard Caussé, solo concerts at international festivals (fx. Festival Internacional Cervantino in Mexico and ‘Le Festival de Radio France et Montpellier’, Lockenhaus and Music Festival of Cyclades) and soloist performances conducted by among others Eri Klas, Hiroyuki Iwaki, Michael Schønwandt, Okko Kamu, Heinrich Schiff, Kurt Sanderling, Adam Fischer, Sylvain Cambreling and Gustave Dudamel.
In 2009-2010 Katrine Gislinge will play in fx. Greece, Germany and Great Britain(London).

Katrine Gislinge begyndte at spille klaver som seks-årig og tog sin diplomeksamen fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium i København i 1990 hvor hun studerede med Anne Øland. Derfra fortsatte hun studierne hos bl.a. Seymour Lipkin i New York, Boris Berman og Claude Frank på Yale og hos Peter Feuchtwanger i London.
Siden da har Katrine Gislinge haft en forrygende karriere, som bl.a. omfatter en solid CD-produktion. Hun har indspillet kammermusik med internationale solister som f.eks. violinisterne Gidon Kremer og Augustin Dumay, cellisterne Jian Wang og Marc Coppey og fløjtenisten Emmanuel Pahud.
Som solist har Katrine Gislinge optrådt ved adskillige internationale festivaler, bl.a.
Festival Internacional Cervantino i Mexico, Le Festival de Radio France et Montpellier og Kammermusikfest Lockenhaus. Blandt de dirigenter, Katrine Gislinge har arbejdet sammen med, finder man navne som Eri Klas, Hiroyuki Iwaki, Michael Schønwandt, Okko Kamu, Heinrich Schiff, Kurt Sanderling, Adam Fischer, Sylvain Cambreling og Gustavo Dudamel.
Katrine Gislinge er sammen med violinsten Lars Bjørnkær kunstnerisk leder af Anneberg Musik Festival og dommer ved f.eks. TIVOLI international piano competition.
Katrine Gislinge er endvidere smagsdommer på DR2.
I 2009-2010 spiller Katrine Gislinge koncerter i bl.a. Grækenland, Tyskland og England.
